Name: Florida Man
Style: Floridian Dark Mild
Description: If throwing coconut into beers and selling imperial barrel aged dark adjunct beers in the beginning of summer sounds crazy, then hold my beer...
From the depths of our cellar, and inspired by the Sunshine State, this is a coconut dark mild ale blended with an imperial stout that was aged in Heritage Distilling whiskey barrels for almost two years. The coconut is subtle so you don’t feel like you’re drinking sun tan lotion, yet the whiskey is surprisingly present for a beer clocking in at only 4.9% abv. We’re coining this soon-to-take-over-the-world style a “Floridian Mild”. It’s incredibly drinkable, and absolutely awesome. As an added bonus, with the low abv, you shouldn’t be inclined to pull any Florida Man shinanigans after drinking a couple of cans. Don’t cellar this beer – drink it fresh!
